What a night for Willie Stargell. On July 24, the right handed DH for the Rusty Kuntz Traveling All Stars became just the the second player of the season to record 12 total bases in a single game. Out of 1973, the big left hander recorded 7 of his teams 8 RBI, highlighted by a bases clearing 3-bagger in the 6th. Stargell also walked in the first, homered in the third, singled in the 5th, and homered again in the 8th.
