Age and ATB

Some interesting stats on the player ages of our draftees:


- As expected, there is a natural bell curve to the player ages, peaking in the mid to late 20s.

- Average Team age runs from 26.0 (Otherton Fish Biscuits) to 30.0 (Big Mac Special Sauce).

- OFB owns the two youngest players in the league - Perry Werden and John Weyhing. At 18 and 19 respectively, both are real life starters turned ATB middle relievers out of the 1800s.

- The oldest player in the game is John McDonald Fanclub's Ted Abernathy. The righty setup man in 45 years old - in real life he pitched to a 1.27 ERA in 106 IP.

- The Downsouth Brews and Sonoran Black Diamonds are the only two teams who don't feature at least one player in their early 20s or younger.
