The NL Central may be a case of old guard versus the new. Justin P is arguably the best owner in league history. He sports the second best winning percentage all time, has won two titles, and recently came through with several dominant teams in the All Time Great ATB Team competition.
While Justin must be considered the favorite, Brian B was the talk of ATB last season, effectively employing a defense first team (to the tune of a slap hitting Ex/1 shortstop). It worked, Brian won 91 games and finished as the 2nd best team in the after season 20-resim competition.
What all this means is an uphill battle for both Jay H and Greg M. Jay has owned three previous ATB franchises peaking with 77 wins two years ago. 4th year owners have improved significantly in the past (see Brian and Shotgun) so this may be his year.
Which brings us to ATB rookie Greg-M. Brother of Mike M, Greg has his work cut out for him in this division. The 500 resims will be an [powerful tool, one that will likely level the playing field even more so than last years batch of resims.
