Effect of Playing in 1906 National League - Error Rates

As you hopefully know, we randomly chose 1906 as the era to play in for this season. Many of us on the message board were lamenting our poor defenses in the exhibitions and we found out why - the era.

Here are the errors per 100 games for each position, 1st figure is our classic ATB era, 2nd is 1906

P: 10 vs 20 C: 9 vs 21 1b: 9 vs 20 2B: 15 vs 30 3B: 15 vs 27 ss: 21 vs 49! OF: 5 vs 10

In a nutshell, errors will at least double this year at every position
