Below is DiMaggio's rate average progress on the year. His low point came after an 0-4 on May 5th, and when play ended the scoreboard showed a modest batting line of .287 / .351 / .366.
Just 23 days latter he is now batting .376 / .416 / .571, thanks in large part to 15 multi-hit games. On the season, DiMaggio has hit safely in 41 of 47 games and reached base in 43 games.
