- Joe DiMaggio (EPL) gets 5 hits

- In what must be the longest game in aTB history, the Psycho Llamas defeat the All Stars 14-13 in 23 innings! Some highlights:
- 7-7 tie at the end of 7, after 5 lead changes or lead ties
- All Stars score two in bottom of 8th on John Reilly 2-run single
- Llamas score two int top 0f 9th to tie, thanks to Willie McCovey 2 out 2 run single
- Llamas score in top 12th on three consecutive singles, leaving runners on 1st and 2nd
- All Stars tie it in bottom half of inning on Richardson's 5th hit of the night. Reliever Saberhagen gets out of a bases loaded 1-out jam.
- Both teams didn't score for the next 8 innings (!)
- In the Top of the 22nd Harry Heillman single home the go ahead run. The Llamas could have broken the game open, but McCovey rapped into a bases loaded double play
- In the bottom of the 22nd, the All Stars struck back and tied the game again on Roger Maris' 25th home run.
- In the Top of the 23, the Llamas, again, scored to take the lead. Yogi Berra, in his 7th AB of the night after pinch hitting in the 12th, singled home George Foster.
- In the bottom of the 23rd, the game ended on Richardson 6th hit, followed by Charleston's 5th hit. Carl Crawford grounded out, scoring Richardson. Charleston then moved to third on a pick off throw error and after an intentional walk, Palmeiro singled him home for the 2nd run of the inning.
- The previous night starters for the Llamas was Dean Chance. He spit the bit and lasted just an inning and two-thirds. On this night of course, the Llamas were forced to use him and he lost this game too.
- The numbers: 182 At Bats, 58 hits, 43 left on base, 27 Runs, 16 walks, 7 errors plus 30 batters (the All Stars used every batter on their roster) and 24 pitchers (the Llamas used every pitcher on their roster).
- It took a mind boggling 710 pitches to record the 137 outs needed to finish the game.
