Thanks in large part to Dick Allen, the Otherton Fishbiscuits went 12-2 in Week 5, capturing the Wild Card lead in the American Division. Allen batted .429 with a .939 slugging, he smacked 7 home runs while recording 18 RBI.
Despite the play of Mariano Rivera, the DC Chips swapped places with the aforementioned Fish Biscuits. Rivera did his job though, hurling 16 innings of relief giving up just 6 hits and 2 walks. He struck out 13 and recorded a 0.61 RCERA.
