Mark McGwire of the Texas Gringo's is named Batter of the Week. McGwire powered the Gringo's with 8 HR and 19 RBI and put up a league leading Week 3 OPS of 1.225 (.456 OBP, .769 SLG). 
For the second week in a row, Greg Maddux of Willets Point is named Pitcher of the Week. Maddux was even more impressive than last week, going 3-0 with a 0.72 ERA and 0.88 RCERA. He made 4 starts, lasting 25 innings and giving up just 20 hits and 2 walks while striking out 17.
