Garland Braxton tossed a complete game giving up 10 hits and 1 earned run. He had the backing of the Red Eagle offense who banged out 12 runs 15 hits . Frank Thomas and Paul Hines had three hits apiece and Turkey Stearnes added a 3-run shot that broke the game open in a 7-run 7th inning.
