The Otherton Fishbiscuits win their second game in a row, tying the series at 2-2. Shadow starter Danny Haren pitched wonderfully, giving up just 2 runs on 4 hits in 8 innings. But Biscuit starter Pedro Martinez was every so slightly better, yielding 1 run over 8 inning and striking out 9 in the process.
The Biscuits scored 2 in the second on a Lenny Dykstra single and it stood up. The Shadows, after scoring in the top of the 8th, had a chance to tie but Lou Gehrig struck out with runners at the corners to end the innings.
Scheduled starters for Game 4 are Dizzy Dean (18-6, 3.40) and Juan Marichal (17-15, 3.54).
