The Pinata Beaters take a 2-1 series lead behind the bats of John Olerud (2 HR, 3 RBI) and Travis Hafner, (4 hits, HR) and the the left arm of Ed Siever. Both owners managed the game for the second time this series, and for the second time it made little difference as the game was not in doubt after the 3rd inning.
Game 4 is tomorrow night where John Tudor (14-16, 4.25) is scheduled to face Ferguson Jenkins (17-8, 3.70).
