Standings Summary - Week 5

Please note I added a column to track how far back each team was in the Wild Card races as well....

It was a ho-hum week in the Mossback Division. Most teams pummeled each other to virtual .500 records with one notable exception. The Downsouth Brews lost 10 of 13 and currently stand on the outside looking in to not only the Division title, but also find themselves a hefty 3.5 games out of the Wild Card race. Their issue was pitching - as a team they gave up 147 hits and 46 walks in 112 innings. Their team ERA was 5.79.

With a 10-3 Sim 5 record, the Sonoran Black Diamonds took control of the Greenhorn Division. They now lead by 3.5 games and a quick look a the Standings Charts and one can see the trend may not be over. Their best player was starter Al Orth, he won 2 of 3 and held batters in check with a 2.05 ERA in 26 innings.
