Week 1 Players of the Week

Fittingly, our Batter of the Week is the the first man selected on draft day, the DC Chips Babe Ruth. The left fielder batted .370 / .500 / .722 with 6 Home Runs, 11 Runs Scored, and 12 RBI.  Hey led the league in Runs Created with 19.9.

Pitcher of the Week honors goes to Christy Mathewson.  Dogphin29's ace pitched brilliantly in 3 starts, going 2-0 with 5 walks and 23 strikeouts  over 24 innings.  He yielded just 15 hits and tossed a complete game shutout.
