McGwire Eyeing Single Season Home Run Records

The Fanclub's Mark McGwire sits at 57 home runs.  With 108 games in the books he's hitting a home run just about every other game (every 1.9 games to be exact) which puts him at a pace to obliterate the current single season record of 67 set in ATB 8 by himself of course.

If he keeps his pace he'll end the season with 85 home runs.  Incredible.

He's had help of course.  Big Mac plays his home games in the Polo Grounds and also spends much time in the Baker Bowl and Coors Field.  The three average a 258 HR factor versus righties.

The record will fall, but here's to hoping the 80 plateau isn't crossed.
