Standings Summary

Week 4

It's still arguable, but after an 11-4 week and obtaining the services of Al Orth today, the Spanish Harlem Pinata Beaters must be considered the team to beat in the American League.   This sim, they used a balanced team attack to secure win after win:

20 IP, 1.80 ERA - Dick Donovan
10 IP, 0.00 ERA - Garland Braxton
11 IP, 0.79 ERA - Mike Caldwell
7. IP, 1.17 ERA - Jake McGee

1.176 OPS - Pete Reiser
1.029 OPS - Babe Ruth
0.958 OPS - Lou Whitaker

Dos Equis expanded their division lead to 8 games leaving the only race in the AL West where John McDonald and DC continue to stay close to one another.  The two played head to head this week, with DC winning 2 of 3.

Brighton is unarguably the best in the NL right now, blowing opponents out with a 13-2 sim and a +27 Run Differential. The next best NL team was at +10.

The Shadows pitching staff was stellar in week 4, throwing out a crazy team line of:  140 IP, 120 H, 2.44 ERA, 1.11 WHIP.  Joe Wood led the way going 2-0 in 3 starts, pitching 25 innings and yielding 16 hits.
