Propose realignment of teams/leagues post pre-season sims. Ranking performance thus far, the average league placement is:

AL-E: 10.5
NL-E: 14.8
NL-W: 16.8
Doesn't seem right that, based on results so far, a mediocre team from the NL should edge out a stronger 2nd place team from the AL for the series. Would think that we would want as much balance as possible starting the season.

ReplyDeleteAppreciate your thoughts! I can't put much stock in a series of exhibitions when so many teams haven't submitted lineups, others still aren't fielding a full rotation, no backup catchers/platoons in place, etc.
Also - to date, the AL has only played against the NL in an unbalanced schedule.
