Stoughton Storm at Bertrand Island Carnies
Rockay Colavito hit home runs in the 1st and 6th innings, aiding his Stoughton Storm to a well fought 5-4 victory. The Storm now lead the series 3 games to 1 and look to eliminate the Bertrand Island Carnies tomorrow night.
The Carnies erased a 4-0 deficit with a Frank Thomas grand slam in the 7th but couldn’t capitalize on the Storm bullpen thereafter.
Tim Burke and Huston Street combined for over 5 innings of 2 hit, shutout ball, giving the Storm a chance to win. In the top of the12th Rickey Henderson took a 2-2 offering from Jeff Zimmerman over the fence for the game winning home run.
