Sergio Romo couldn't protect a hard fought 1 run lead, giving up 3 singles, a homer, and 4 total 8th inning runs in route to a Gossamer 7-4 defeat.  With two-outs and runners on the corners, Cap Anson singled in the tying run.  The Gossamers had relievers warming in the pen, but stuck with Soria only to see Albert Pujols knock a 2-2 pitch out of the park for a three run home run.
