Behind a good start from Addie Joss and great pen work, the Otherton Fishbiscuits steal game 4 from the Borischtown Brawlers, avoiding the sweep. Joss gave up 5 hits and a run over 6 innings before the bullpen took over, yielding 1 run over the next 6 innings.
It seems commonplace for extra inning games in this Tournament, and this affair was only settled in 12th when Dan Brouthers booted a ball to first, loading the bases for Honus Wagner. The shortstop hit a seeing eye single between short and third scoring the winning run.
Mike Scott was sharp in the no decision, striking out 8 against two walks in 9 innings.
