  2. Man, is it tough to be a new ATB player and care about your team. My thoughts on each:

Snider - I had his 1954 season as the 28th best among CF'ers, and 155th best among batters. Very Good, not great. Keep in mind his home run totals are inflated by Ebbets field and his OBP isn't all time great. In the context of this game, and against the greatest players who ever lived, I think you have a 90/25/90 type player. That is pretty good in ATB when you are facing Pedro and Walter every other day. He will get better and is already showing signs with a good Sim 2 and a good so far Sim 3

Foxx - an elite HR hitter and will most definitely turn it around. Don't expect .356 / .449 / .703 though. Shibe park increased righty home runs by 50% during his time. He'll hit around 40 HR drive in 100, but likely will not bat much better than .285. I have his 1932 season ranked 11th among 1B and 55 among batters.

Morgan - ugh. DMB hates him, truly. I have him ranked 245th among batters. He usually has a decent OBP with no pop.

Oh, my rankings are strict formula's based upon real life stats - no adjusting for human biases.

  3. Morgan hit .281 last year in DMB with a .406 OBP...also had 14 homers with 80 sb. He should be an elite lead off guy with those numbers. Not really looking for alot of pop

Foxx hit .305 with OBP of .391 and 43 homers. thats pretty damn good for this league

Snider hit .280 with 28 homers. I consider anything over .280 in this league pretty good so they have all really underachieved imo. Especially Morgan

  4. I didn't mean to imply that they wouldn't be good, just wanted to temper your expectations. Collectively, I 100% agree they are underperforming.

    The year before Morgan hit .205 / .313 / .341 before being benched. Foxx .256 / .334 / .487, though with 46 HR and 115 RBI. Snider .232 / .323 / .364, though, a different year than yours.

  5. Oh, it is still really early too - a lot of players are way over or way underperforming at this point.
