LDS Game 4's Complete

Puff 8, Lusitania 2
On short rest, Scott Stratton easily dispatches of the Death Speakers, holding them to 2 runs in a complete game triumph for San Diego. Josh Gibson provided some offense with an early game 2-run homer that Lusitania never recovered from. The series is now tied at 2.

Dumai's Wells 4, John McDonald 2
After a Stan Musial solo shot to open the 2nd, Pedro Martinez plunks two batters in row, leading to a benches clearing brawl. Pedro was ejected after throwing just 21 pitches, and Joe Gordon of the Oathbinders had to hit the showers too. Dumai's Wells went on to win the game, but it was ever so costly - their best reliever Bruce Sutter was injured for over a month in the brawl. The second batter hit, starting first basemen John Olerud, was injured on the HBP for 14 days. The Oathbinders lead the series 3 games to 1.

No word on whether Lou P, owner of the Oahtbinders, plans to hunt down Jason B, owner of the Fanclub.

- Thousands of fans from across America called the ATB front office to complain about Pedro's actions. Now word on whether the comish will suspend the righty pitcher.

DC 6, Big Mac 2
Ben Sanders throws a complete game, bending with 9 hits and 2 runs, but never breaking. DC's offense came from a pinch hit 3-run homer by Oscar Gamble and a 2-4, 2 RBI night from center fielder Duke Snider. The series is now tied at 2.

- Schilling (BMS): 6.1 IP, 7 H, 6 ER, 2 BB, 6 K

Notes
- Lefty Gomez (BMS) pitched well in relief - 2 IP, 5 K
- Mark McGwire (BMS) homered in the loss

Black Diamonds 3, Helena 0

Lady Baldwin is wonderful again, giving up just 3 hits and striking out 8 in his second shutout of the series. Fred Dunlap went 2-4 with an RBI in the win. The series is now tied at 2.
