Despite a nerve wracking 1st when it looked like Shamokin continued the run barrage from Game 1, the Beaters tied the series at one's behind a strong 2 hit, 8 inning start from Harvey Haddix. Cupid Childs was the offensive hero going 3-4 with a home run. Oscar Charleston also went deep in the win.
