Five different Biscuits had multi-hit games generating more than enough offense for Pedro Martinez, who cruised to a 7-3 Otherton win. Ezra Sutton had three hits, while Bill Terry, Paul Waner, and Ernie Banks each drove in 2 base runners. Banks added a long home run in the 5th, the only crooked inning for Otherton all night. They scored runs in 5 consecutive innings off of Dan Haren and Rollie Fingers.
Martinez was great up until the 9th inning when he tired, letting 3 runs in. Ferdie Schupp and Dennis Eckersley finished the game without much trouble.
