AL West Divisional Alignment

Something will have to give in the AL West.  Jason, Leanne, and Shotgun each have historical records above .500 and with 22 games each other this season, one of the three will assuredly finish with more losses than wins.

A few seasons ago Jason's John McDonald Fanclub franchise won 109 games only to fall short in the League Championship series.  In the last two seasons he's won 81 and 84 games however, and looks once again cross the 90 win  plateau in ATB XV.

Leanne's back at the helm after a two year hiatus, and hopes to repeat (or of course improve upon) her rookie campaign of 87 wins, one in which her Beau Brummels fought to the last day of the season, narrowly missing the playoffs.

After relatively disappointing rookie and sophomore seasons (ATB learning curve) Shotgun has advanced to the playoffs two years consecutive, and drafted one of the best teams in the league last year (+111 Run Differential). It may be difficult to improve upon 92 wins in this division however.

Pay no attention to Gary-G's 74 win total from last season.  Gary graciously took over a team he had no part in drafting last season, jumping in for another owner who dropped out shortly after the season began.  The more I think about the more I realize what a good position Gary is actually in - he now has ATB experience yet is not responsible for the results of last seasons 74-88 team.
