Faber outduels Appier; leads Red Roses in easy 7-3 win

Game 2 (1 vs 5)
Borischtown Brawlers @ Lancaster Red Roses

The Red Roses tied their series and the Brawlers with a 7-3 win in Game 2.  Red Faber was wild but effective, lasting 8 innings and allowing 3 runs to score.  It was a bit smoke and mirrors though, he walked 7 and allowed 6 hits.

Brawlers starter Kevin Appier wasn't particularly effective himself, walking 7 as well, but left the game with his team in the hunt, trailing 4-1.  His pen failed him though, with Haefner and Buddy Groom giving up 7 hits and 3 runs in 3 innings of work.

Mark McGwire homer in the win, while Chase Utely drove in 2.
